As a licensed financial institution, we’re obligated by law to verify the identity of all of our clients before we provide them with financial services. Our app and processes are designed to comply with the latest banking regulations and laws.

Please be aware that all related persons associated with an e-money account, including the account holder, legal representatives, other signatory individuals, and cardholders of cards issued to e-money accounts or of GiftCards, are required to go through the verification process. This includes executive directors, shareholders, and controlling persons added to an iCard for Business account.

  • The code has expired - if your code is not valid, you won’t be able to use it to start the identification process. In this case, you will have to request a new one by contacting your agent.
  • The request has been cancelled - if the request was cancelled by our team, you won’t be able to start the process.
  • You’ve completed your identification - if you've already gone through the identification process using this code, the system will recognise it and won’t let you use the same code again. Once the process is completed, the code becomes inactive and you will need to request a new one.
  • You need to go through the process once more - keep in mind that any new sessions require a unique code, even if your previous attempts were not accepted by the system or our team. Reusing the same code for your second attempt won’t be possible, even if the previous identification wasn’t successful.

In conclusion, if your identification code is not working, it could be due to the expiration of the code or the completion of a previous identification process. In these cases, please contact your agent or request a new code.

  • Take clear photos - before submitting the photos of your ID document, please check whether they are clear and focused, all texts and details on the document are readable and not obscured by glare or shadows. Place the document on a flat surface against a contrasting background to enhance visibility.
  • Ensure your face is fully visible - remove any accessories like hats, sunglasses, or headwear. Avoid using filters on your camera and maintain a neutral expression while taking a selfie and going through the facial recognition process.
  • Be alone during the process - make sure that there is no one around you during the process.
